For you and your dog, made to feel easy
We know what it’s like to travel with your dog.
So we’ve thought about the little things that make a dog-friendly break in Devon easier, from muddy paws and somewhere comfortable to sleep, to finding a good walk without getting back in the car.
Dog bed, bowls, blankets, towels and treats included.
Walk from the door
Within a couple of minutes of Lead & Linen, you can be walking beneath the trees, following paths down to the little river.
Fields, quiet lanes and bridleways surround us, with Bradworthy Moor and Holsworthy Woods a short drive away, and the coast of North Devon and North Cornwall beyond.
Back from a walk?
Mud is part of life around here.
There is an outdoor dog shower and towels waiting for muddy paws.
Back inside, there’s a dog bed and blanket ready for them to settle down while you do the same.
Making themselves at home
We know some dogs like to curl up beside you.
If yours joins you on the bed or furniture, please use the dog blanket provided — and give muddy paws a wash first.
Take a memory home
Andy’s dog photography sessions can be arranged during your stay, using the countryside around Lead & Linen as the backdrop.
No studio. No need for perfect behaviour.
Just your dog, being your dog.
Time for you, too
Bringing your dog shouldn’t mean every part of your holiday has to revolve around them.
There may be somewhere you’d like to visit where dogs can’t come, a restaurant you’ve been wanting to try, or simply a few hours you’d like to have to yourselves.
Dog sitting and countryside walks can be arranged during your stay, so you can head out knowing they’re being looked after.
Because sometimes a dog-friendly holiday should include a little time without the dog, too.
