Emails from Lead & Linen
If you choose to join our mailing list, we may occasionally send you news from Lead & Linen, things we're creating, places we've discovered and other updates we think you may enjoy.
We will only add you to this mailing list where you have actively chosen to join.
Making a booking, sending us an enquiry, entering a competition or raffle, or applying to become a Paw Inspector will not automatically add you to our marketing list.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe option in our emails or by contacting us at hello@leadandlinen.co.uk.
Who we share information with
We may use carefully selected service providers to help us operate Lead & Linen. Depending on how you interact with us, these may include providers of:
website hosting and website services;
booking and property-management systems;
payment processing;
email and marketing services;
IT, cloud storage and business administration services;
professional services such as accountants or advisers; and
other services necessary to fulfil something you have requested.
Our website is currently hosted through Squarespace, and our booking services may be provided through Little Hotelier and associated payment providers.
These organisations may process personal information on our behalf or, in some circumstances, act as independent data controllers under their own privacy policies.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our guests, our business or others.
We do not sell your personal information.
Andy Pull Photography
Photography experiences provided by Andy Pull Photography are operated separately from Lead & Linen.
If you choose to arrange a photography experience, information necessary to organise the session may be shared with Andy Pull Photography. Where Andy Pull Photography collects or uses your personal information for its own photography services, it is responsible for that use under its own privacy arrangements.
Cookies and website information
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly and, depending on the choices you make, to help us understand how the website is being used.
Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, we will ask for it before using them.
More information is available in our Cookie Policy and through the cookie settings on our website.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to meet legal, accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
Booking and transaction records may need to be retained for longer periods where required for financial or tax purposes.
Enquiry information that does not result in a booking will be reviewed and deleted when it is no longer reasonably required.
If you join our mailing list, we will retain the information needed to manage your subscription until you unsubscribe or we determine that it is no longer appropriate to retain it. We may retain limited information about an unsubscribe request so that we can respect that preference in future.
Information collected specifically for a Paw Inspector or similar application will not be retained indefinitely once that activity has ended unless there is another lawful reason to retain it.
International transfers
Some of the technology providers we use may process or store information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law will be used where required.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to:
ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
ask us to delete information in certain circumstances;
ask us to restrict how information is used;
object to certain uses of your information;
receive certain information in a portable format; and
withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
These rights can vary according to the lawful basis on which information is being processed. To exercise your rights, email hello@leadandlinen.co.uk.
